5 Organisational Tips

I wanted to do a quick video and blogpost on my top 5 tips of how to stay organised. I have three different jobs and so sometimes time management and organisation can be a little tricky especially when studying and blogging at the same time. However blogging is a huge hobby of mine therefore I always try hard to ensure that I put the effort in to find the time to do this.

Tip 1: Tidy House = Tidy Mind

For me, I find that if my workplace is untidy it is extremely difficult to concentrate on what I am doing as around me I can see a huge list of things that should be done and will need to be done before or after. Therefore I will always ensure that the area of work is clean and tidy. It does help that Christian is probably the most tidy and organised person I have ever met so that ensures that I can’t let any area get untidy. I usually find that when I first get up once I am showered and dressed I will do a quick 20 minute to half hour blitz on the house just to keep everything tidy, clean and ready for the day!I ill set a timer on my phone and off I go and  I have found approaching it in this way creates more f a challenge to see how much I can get done before he alarm goes off and it makes me feel better too as I know that it is done for the rest of the day!

Tip 2: Try to create a routine

Anyone that is a blogger and has a full time job knows how difficult it can be to find the time to blog, take pictures and do the million and one other things that are associated with general life! This is why trying to organise a routine will help! Recently I have decided to create my own little planner to help keep me in a routine that will ensure that I get that time to blog. For me, after a long day of work if I have things to do such as go to the gym, blog, or do some further work I try to do it as soon as I get home before I relax and sit down. This way it is all finished before I begin to relax!

Tip 3: Write A List/keep an organiser

List writing is high up on my priorites for staying organised! If you are anything like me, I have to write everything down or set mportant reminders on my phone otherwise with so much going on I will just forget. Not only will writing lists help to keep you organised but it will also give you that extra motivation to achieve the things you have written down. However always try and be realsitic with them so set a daily target and try to not make it too difficult to achieve.

Tip 4: Try to make the most of your day!

If you are off for the weekend or have a crazy busy week each week, try to make the most of your day! At the weekend I will always try and wake up fairly early as I like to try and get as many things done and out of the way so that I can get on and enjoy the rest of my weekend. Blogging is something that I enjoy but that can be so time consuming, so usually I will factor in a sunday morning when Christian is at Lifeboat as my chance to get some pictures taken for the the rest of the week and try and get some blogs drafted!

Tip 5: Food/Meal Plan

This is more of a tip for those that find that making food and preparing food can be time consuming! Christian and I have started to try and be a little more organised with both our weekly shop and our meals too! If we have some meals that we can stratch out throughout the weel such as lasange and salad or

I hope you have found these tips useful and will enjoy putting some of these tips into practice! Let us now what you do to keep organised!

I always meal plan for the week otherwise I end up eating so unhealthily! Definitely agree with lists too and I also try to be up no later than 8/9 on a weekend so I can make the most of my day!

I agree with #1, I cleaned my room the other day because it was such a mess and I felt so much better after!

It feels so good when everything is clean and tidy 🙂 I love a bit of organising-although the next thing on my list to organise is my wardrobe and I think that may take a while 🙂 xxx
